The Problem We Couldn't Ignore
At SaunaMate, our journey began as gym and fitness facility owners. We loved the benefits of the sauna, and so did our members. In fact, it was one of the most popular amenities in our facility. But there was one complaint we heard over and over again: the sauna felt sweaty and grimy between uses.
Every day, dozens of people would enter and exit the sauna, leaving behind sweat, body oils, and grime on the benches for the next person to sit on.
We searched for a solution, but nothing on the market seemed designed specifically for saunas. Many wipes were too dry to effectively clean hot wood surfaces, while others contained strong fragrances that became overwhelming once amplified by the heat.
So we decided to create our own.
After extensive testing, we developed a thick, ultra-saturated, unscented wipe specifically designed for sauna environments. The result was a simple, effective way to keep sauna benches fresh and clean between sessions without harsh scents or unnecessary chemicals.
